Are you an eBay affiliate? Do you have an eBay affiliate site? Or would you just like to display tiny ads for eBay auctions on your content sites?
You may have tried or are already using the eBay Editor Kit (EK) for putting eBay listings on your webpages. The EK is a great way for getting listings on your pages fast, but it's also a little tricky to get exactly the types of auctions you want. The EK blocks also don't look all that sharp in my opinion.
So what other options are there? Well there's AuctionAds, which is a pretty neat program for displaying ad units that look a lot like Google Adsense. My only complaint with AuctionAds are having to settle for a 6.7% commission cut from eBay. As an eBay affiliate I want the whole enchilada? I've also read some complaints from users in the forums that it's difficult to get relevant ads to show.
I've been experimenting with the eBay RSS feed and have really liked what's possible with it. The really cool thing about it is you can embed your Commission Junction PID (affiliate ID) into the RSS feed URL and on top of that you are given tremendous control over specifying the auction parameters.
So what I'm now experimenting with here is my own variation on displaying eBay auction listings formatted as tiny ads. The program is in Beta, but the great thing is that it is free for anyone to use. You can get started right now, just punch in some keywords in the form below along with some other paramters and you're ready to go. The great part is that you get to keep 100% of any commissions earned from eBay. And don't forget that eBay now pays a hefty $25 for every new active registration you generate from your affiliate links!
